Audio huge latency

Hey, I just experimented a huge audio latency problem with the Fourier Rack (~1/5 sec)

After one night without shutting down the engine - I only shut down the quantum 338 and the client computer - I had about 0.2 second latency on all my Fourier inserts.

Dante controller did not show any synchronisation or latency problem.

Soft restarting the engine did not solve the problem - “Maestro v0.0.618” could not start correctly after this soft reboot -

HARD restating solved the problem …

About that module called Maestro v0.0.618, what is it for ?

Did any of you had ever have the problem ?

Thank you for your help

Hi Leo

Thanks for raising this, and sorry to hear about the latency issue.

That kind of latency is definitely abnormal. Since a soft reboot didn’t resolve it and Maestro failed to start correctly, it may point to a deeper issue with the engine or its state at that point.

The Maestro component of the Transform Engine is responsible for handling the actual audio processing on each renderer. It manages how the different processing modules are connected, coordinated, and monitored within Windows to make sure everything runs smoothly.

If you haven’t already, I’d recommend downloading the logs from the system tab and contacting support with them as soon as possible. We will be able to analyse what went wrong and advise if this was a hardware issue or something that needs patching.
