Digico Integration

Hi everyone,

A while ago, I transitioned my Quantum 338 setup over to the Fourier integration (moving away from Waves). In principle, I am really happy with how it’s running, but I do have a few questions regarding the integration. Are there any plans to address the following points or generally improve the integration workflow?

Technical Issues & Feature Requests:

  • Waves Plugin Presets: The drop-down menu for loading plugin presets does not work directly from the console screen/surface view.
  • Keyboard Input: It would be great if the console’s physical hardware keyboard could be utilized to input values directly into the plugins.
  • Template Loading: Loading templates on the DiGiCo does not work at all with Fourier right now. For our specific application, this is currently impractical and unsatisfying.
  • Plugin Follows PFL: Having a “Plugin Follows PFL” feature on the Transform client would be an amazing addition, especially since the master screen gets quite cluttered anyway depending on the application.

General Questions & Suggestions:

  • DSP Peak Reset: When loading a showfile, DSP peaks occur (which is completely fine and expected). However, the peak indicator stays “red”. Could an automated refresh/reset of the indicator be implemented, for example, after 1 minute?

Aside from these points, you’ve done a fantastic job! You can really tell the workflow is practical and well-thought-out, and the snapshot integration is solved perfectly.

TF-4904 - Reset DSP peak indicator after configurable timeout
