Hey everybody! IĀ“m using my engine the first time with DiGiCo integration running on a Q7.

  • When I have a PlugIn on the Q7 screen and touch a knob of the PlugIn on the screen, the touch and turn poti on the console is obviously activated (yellow led ring around the pot is illuminated) but turning the poti doesnĀ“t have any affect on the plugin. So simply touch n turn is not working.

  • Chains which are running on an aux send (for fx engines) canĀ“t be shown on the concoles screen because they are not inserted.

  • I still have to organize the MIDI Channels myself in order to fire the correct cue in TE after re organizing and renumbering my snapshots in the console. Synchronisation should be wayyy better and more complete between console and TE

Sorry for the issues youā€™ve experienced, please do get in touch with support if it is urgent.

  • Touch and turn- this is surprising and the first we have heard of that. Whilst I havenā€™t got a Q7 to hand, Iā€™ve got touch and turn working perfectly on a Q3 and Q2 in front of me. Can you confirm what plugin you were attempting it with?

  • Correct on that front, thatā€™s the same Digico workflow as Chilli racks, but if you feel it should operate differently, let us and/ or Digico know.

  • Can you explain further regarding snapshots? There have been no issues reporter so far, whilst being beta tested for over a month now with no problems.

OK, obviously its on UADx and SSL that the touich n turn doesnā€™t work. Waves plug ins accept the touch n turn. As I mainly use the SSL and UAD I thought it generally doesnā€™t workā€¦

regarding the other topics IĀ“ll write a bit more laterā€¦ Best!

Be great to know which SSL plugins, you can easily see from the console or transform.client which plugins support touch and turn. This is a manufacturer specific feature they need to implement rather than a Fourier Audio one.

I know Universal Audio currently donā€™t (working on that), but I wouldnā€™t expect the ring to light up yellow for that one.

I thought all (tentatively say that) SSL plugins support it, but I could be wrong!

Hey, so IĀ“m back on the production now. transform.client says touch n turn supported for SSL 4K E bugt it doesnĀ“t. Other I most UAD, so theyĀ“re not supported. Waves is working. So basically the t 'n t works. thanks for that!
