I’m having this weird issue that I reckon is related to the FPS of the plugin views within transform.client. Plugins such as F6-RTA almost always do not show the RTA, nor do they show the correctional EQ curve - apart from some split seconds, leaving me to believe that this is an issue with the FPS of the plugin sandbox.
I am running the transform client through a VLAN (this might be an issue but then again I don’t think it should be - let me know otherwise).
I regularly use F6 and can’t confirm that, the UI always works as smooth as all other plugins. Maybe it’s indeed something related to your network setup?
I’ll send you the showfile. To answer your questions:
It happens reliably across many instances
It happens regardless of new or existing showfile
I am running the latest F6 version (V16)
There are no other plugins with an RTA. I don’t think it’s limited to an RTA, as the keyboard in Waves Tune is also darkened out and does not react (similar to the behaviour of the RTA in F6).
For all that may come this way and have the same issue.
Support response:
We have recently identified that due to a compatibility issue with the latest Waves V.16 update, some Waves plugins are experiencing graphical issues on the transform.engine. We are working on a fix, but in the meantime, any new offline installers should be created with V15 plugins.
