Keyboard functionality and Client Shortcuts

Hello there,
i have two little feature requests regarding keyboard control:

  1. in lots of plugins i can double click on a value to type in some specific dB value with a keyboard. It seems that local key presses are not transmitted to the plugin running on the engine? For example it’s easier to just type in a specific frequency in the EQ Band than to turn the knob until i am approx. there. Or am i missing something?

  2. It would also be nice to have some Keyboard Shortcuts for the Client. I am thinking of basic stuff like navigating through the chains with the arrow keys (like on a Digico console) or mapping some specific windows or views on some keys. I think the new functions with the groups etc. are great, but it is still not a very quick experience when using the client on more complex shows with around 30 chains and more…

  1. Teleported keyboard input is something that we intend to implement into the transform.engine soon, however unfortunately it’s something we have no immediate timeline on. Its being tracked with reference TF-521 and if anything changes, it will be added to our roadmap.

  2. Totally agree with you on this, it would be super useful and improve the usability of the client application. I’ll put this into our to-do list, tracking with reference TF-3290.
