Lost control signal on long CAT cables

Hi folks. I used the transform engine on 30 shows last year, including festivals and club shows.
Our setup is:
A&H CDM48 Box with Dante card on stage
Fourier Transform Engine on stage(into the CDM Dante card with 2 short CAT 6 cable)

A&H C1500 Surface-FOH position (connected with the CDM box via the venues CAT cable)
Dell Optiplex Micro PC-FOH position(connected with the fourier control port via the venues CAT cable)

The Transform engine-CDM 48 Connection is always stable, there was no problem with it ever.

But I had problems with the Micro PC-Fourier Control port connection multiple times. It disconnects then reconnect many time during the show. Needles to say it’s really annoying, and I tried to solve the issue. I’ve put a cheap netgear switch between the PC and the Fourier, but it didn’t help.
Do you think a better switch like the Cisco SG 300 would boost the signal?
I know that sometimes venues have really long and bad quality CAT cables, but I dont think that it should be a problem to have a stable connection. I also witnessed this problem in big festivals with quality cables. It seems that the control port is really sensitive for the quality and a lenght of the cable.
Do you guys have any suggestion? What is your experience with this so far?
Thank you!
