I don’t see the metering anymore on the side of the pluging chain. Should it be like that?

This is likely related to your ‘Heartbeat Stalled’ question on the other page (Heartbeat stalled? - #2 by henryharrod) - see if restarting the client works, and also verify your network configuration is correct.
