I recently attempted to install Waves V16. Prior to this, I had been using Waves V15 on my transform.engine without any issues.
After completing the installation, I noticed that several plugins are displaying graphical problems in their user interfaces. For example, in Waves Tune, the scale is not visible, and in F6, the “bending” line does not function as expected. There may also be additional elements that are not working correctly.
I have already tried uninstalling Waves completely, deleting all related folders, removing Waves Central, and reinstalling everything from scratch. Unfortunately, the issue persists.
Could you please let me know if I might have done something incorrectly or if there is a known solution to resolve this problem?
Hi
Unfortunately, this is a known issue at the moment. Hopefully, it will be fixed in the next update.
I ran into this problem myself and reverted to V15.
It’s always worth reading the release notes, as such issues are usually mentioned there — just like this time.
TF-4396: A recent update to Waves 16 plugins has caused a compatibility issue with the graphics drivers used by all versions of transform.engine. We are working with Waves to understand the cause. We temporarily recommend that users either use Waves 16 installers from prior to the December update, or use Waves 15 installers. We expect to release a fix for this issue in the coming weeks.
