It’d be great to see native rtpMIDI support! I realise MIDI functionality is still in the works but I’d love to be able to control transform directly over the existing control link, rather than needing a whole separate MIDI interface & connection!

Glad to hear you are investigating in this area. I currently have a use case where I would like to run a vocal harmonizer effect on the transform engine (Waves Harmony to be specific) that is triggered by notes from an ableton computer on stage. As receiving MIDI input is currently not possible, we need to run the plugin on the ableton computer on stage and route audio through it, which is the kind of setup that I wanted to avoid with the transform engine 
If it would be possible to receive midi via rtpMIDI over network and route it to individual plugin chains, I would just send the midi data from the stage over network to the transform engine and host the vocal effect on the transform engine.
I realize, that once that would be implemented, the transform engine could basically become a host for virtual instrument plugins right away.
Is this something you would consider?
