Slate Digital Subscription Blocking load

Currently un-able to load past the iLok screen showing that my subscription for my slate plugins expire in 27 days.

Trialing a re-install but just a warning that this currently makes the engine un-able to use any subscription based plug-ins when the stock ilok wanting tells you, you are within 30 days. Even the test run doesnt fix.

Hi Jared,

We have a lot of people using it in these scenario, so there should be something we can do to help.

Could you send screen recordings to [email protected]? They can best understand whatā€™s happened and provide a solution.

Thanks,

Elliot

I got a fix in time before the show. I had to un-licence & re-licence my plugins on an online ilok licence manager (seperate computer) as the Fourier has no way to update online to see that the plugins have been licenced for another month.

When re-licencing on the ilok, the application puts the end date of the subscription forward another month which allows the plugin to load within transform engine.

The inability to push past the warning pop-up window is worrying as if I didnā€™t have the time and access to wifi this would have had me not using the Fourier for the show.

Just to confirm the ā€˜warning experation pop-upā€™ stated that i still had 23 days remaining on my subscription, so there was no expired plugins in the system. It was just that the warning of expiration within the month then didnā€™t allow the transform engine to allow the plugin to load.

Hi Jared,

Copy that, and yes that is the way to do it as we donā€™t allow the internet onto transform.engine for reliability purposes.

However, we have many users that can use it with the warning expiry (ourselves included), so it would be good to investigate this further.

Not sure where youā€™re seeing this issue?
Did you try rescanning and when warned with the expiry date selecting ā€˜Okā€™?
At what was stopping it from working?

Weā€™d absolutely do not want you to be stuck in a festival field just before a gig worrying about licenses!

As always, feel free to contact [email protected] if time critical, these forums arenā€™t the best place for time sensitive responses.

Thanks,

Elliot

The issue was that any chain that had the slate subscription within would be failing or showing the ā€˜!ā€™ logo on the whole insert chain.

I then ran the ā€˜test pluginā€™ which went back to windows and showed the warning of expiration from the iLok manager explaining the there was 23 days remaining on the plugin. I would then say ā€˜continueā€™ past and the plug-in would load.

I then exited back to the transform engine and the load would fail again. I then re-scanned the whole library, of which would then also pause and i would need to go back to windows to click past the warning of expiration screen.

I reinstalled the suite also to the same issue. The only way to get past it was to re-licence the iLok.
