If I use Hyperport, can I still downsample from 96k to 48k in the Dante DMI card? (My session doesn’t run well at 96k). Thanks!
Great update!
What is the roundtrip latency for all protocols @ 96K & 32 period size?
Hyperport 1,2 ms ?
GigaAce 1,2 ms ?
DX 1,2 ms ?
Dante 3 ms ?
Only Hyper Port. Digico - Transform. 1.2ms
Hey Jan
Round trip latency
Dante: 3ms
HYPERPORT: 1.2ms
gigaACE: 1.2ms
DX: ~1.3ms
Hey Joe
That’s a great question - let us check with the DiGiCo team on that one!
Hello Ben,
Is Hyperport a software/firmware update and will it be implemented in the full fourier engine too in the march update?
regards Rob
Hi Rob,
All protocols: HYPERPORT, gigaACE, and DX will be implemented across the entire transform product range.
This will come in the form of a software upgrade!
Showfiles will also be fully cross platform, no conversion needed. The only change is the number of available outputs on each platform.
Thanks Ben,
Can you reconfirm Hyperport being 2 ms?
Or is this a typo?
Ben is currently on the frontline at NAMM, soo please excuse his typo!
HYPERPORT is 1.2ms

Hey Ross, Hey Ben,
That’s an incredible update, that let me optimize many things in my routine!
I’m wondering if DX protocol will support all 64ch I/O with transform.engine. Right now DX maximum channel count is limited to 32 per port if I’m not wrong.
Do you have more Information on that?
Hi Inso,
Good question, unfortunately, the DX protocol is limited to 32 channels, the secondary port is only used for redundancy.
So if using a transform.engine, only 32 channels could be used over DX.
Worth noting that if using an Slink port you would be able to use gigaACE for the full 64 channel operation
Thanks,
Ross

Typo! We have edited the comment!
Also curious about the sample rate on the Hyperport for DiGiCo. Can it operate at 48K? I have a Q112 with the integrated Fourier card coming but curious which can/can’t operate with SRC.
Hey Joe,
I just spoke to DiGiCo, there will be no SRC on HYPERPORT.
Chatting with Dave Bigg though, and he was curious to investigate more why your session doesn’t run well at 96kHz if you want to drop us an email!
Hope you’re well, thanks,
Elliot
Hi Elliot,
Thanks for the reply. Ah that’s a shame. My session doesn’t run at 96k because I use too many plugins I imagine ![]()
Joe
Ah sorry Joe, I read ‘session’ as console file, not transform. My mistake!
