Hey y’all! New to Fourier and still learning the ropes but really excited to dig in.
I know that part of the point of Fourier is to move away from Waves, BUT until we decide on a new tuning plug, Waves Tune is what we’re rocking with.
Currently Waves Tune isn’t receiving the key changes from the other instances of Waves Tune running in the rest of the session. All the other instances are set to receive. Anything I might be missing here?
By system design, we isolate and process plugin chains individually. This means plugins don’t see each other as they are sandboxed. The amazing advantages of this means that if one plugin crashes, it will only affect that plugin chain and not the whole system. Along with our auto detection if a plugin does fail, we will automatically detect it and restart the plugin chain for you.
For cross chain communication, it depends how the plugin manufacturer has implemented it. For example, you would need to use network-based inter-plugin communication to ensure instances in different chains are able to communicate with one another. This keeps the chains independent but ability to communicate.
